Wellard Childcare, is an understated design with a strong emphasis on orientation and providing the best possible solution to the site. Designed by Actus Associates to caters to 64 children and situated on the corner of Churchyard Avenue and Bertram Road in Wellard. 

The exterior of the building is clad with warm timber panelling and covered by a large skillion roof providing shade to the outdoor play spaces.  All internal play spaces are orientated north to allow the warm winter sun to penetrate into the rooms and the wide roof overhang blocks harsh summer sun. This is a simple yet effective design that Actus Associates were proud to deliver for our clients.
