Actus were engaged to produce a series of feasibility studies for a site in Armadale zoned for a mixed use development. On a major intersection, the site contained an existing heritage cottage which was to be retained. Several massing options were produced which featured an 'L' shaped commercial section which wraps around the cottage and a residential tower above which was set back to allow the cottage to still have access to natural light.
