Princi Meat Processing Facility

Converting a 5000 sqm decommissioned laundry into a modern, SQF certified meat processing facility, the Princi Meat Processing Facility is a state of the art handling, packaging and storage complex. This project required comprehensive redesign to meet industry standards for food safety while incorporating modern equipment and food processing infrastructure.

Actus was responsible for the design and execution of the facility transformation, focusing on compliance with SQF food safety certification standards while collaborating with European suppliers of equipment to ensure the highest standards of integration and performance. Actus staff worked closely with process engineers and industry experts to optimise each stage of meat processing operations in the design of this facility. The project required a range of considerations, from the necessary infrastructure upgrades in an existing building, to the incorporation of high capacity refrigeration systems in support of the rapid turnaround associated with the meat processing industry.
