Blasta Brewing

The Blasta Collective at 98-106 Goodwood Parade in Burswood replaces the old brewpub nearby and increases capacity to an impressive 1400 people. The 3400sqm venue across two buildings features a beer hall, multiple alfresco areas, a kids play zone and function space in one structure, and a large gastropub, bistro, fine dining area, coffee shop, patisserie, bottle shop, distillery, merch store and florist in the other. Unicorn Alley, named after Blasta’s logo referencing the client’s Scottish heritage, links the two buildings, and provides a mystical and grand entry worthy of your next Instagram photo or Pinterest post.

The projects most unique challenge was to work within the constraints of the two existing buildings that were originally constructed in 1973 and had previously been extended upon already several times. Many parts of the buildings were not within current building standards and required to be re-built entirely, whilst other portions of the buildings were retained and restored to pay homage to the past.

Working closely with the clients eclectic vision Actus have worked hard to help our client deliver a facility that will enhance the Blaster Brewery brand, create a destination in itself, deliver an honest and authentic range of experiences compelling memories that guests will share with others. Blasta Collective has been designed to cater for a variety of patrons including family, craft been enthusiasts, sports enthusiasts, Casino visitors, commuters and Instragram-ers. We, at Actus look forward to a relaxing pint of beer with our client when the project is completed.
